My first hash experience.

This weekend, I went to Hakuba, Nagano prefecture with Shoji-san, Taeko, Satohi and Mami to attend my friend Aya's wedding. It was the most unique and fabulous wedding I have ever attended. The ceremony was held at a Buddest temple, which is very unusual even in Japan (Wedding at a shrine with Shinto way is very common, but Buddest way, I have never seen.). The party was held at the Olympic ski jump field (they even arranged two real jumpers to demonstrate at the party!!) and it was the first time in its history so some local media came to cover their wedding. I understand that they made so much effort to prepare for this original wedding that no one ever have done before. Well done, Aya and Keith! AND, Aya was a really beautiful bride in traditional Japanese wedding clothes called Shiromuku and Wataboshi (White and inocent kimono and white cotton hat).

Next day, they organized a hash run for the guests and that was my first hash experience. I wasn't really sure about its rule and just followed experienced people. The woman who explained about the rule told me that we should follow "flour", but I somehow understood it as "flower", and all the way I was looking for some kind of "flower". Pretty embarrassing...Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this first hash experience in beautiful Hakuba mountain area. Thank you so much to Aya and Keith for giving me the pure opportunity to enjoy running.
