Congratulations Mika! What a gutsy performance in tough conditions. You looked so strong and relaxed at 29k with your big smile despite the rain and headwind. You must have been passing many other runners with these splits.

Well done! 3.10 in any conditions is great, but 3.10 in that weather yesterday is brilliant. - Gordon

Jay, Arnaud, Yoshida-san and Gordon, thank you so much! 3:10 at Nagoya might have been a fluke, but 3:10 this time is the solid one I think, and that's what now I am pretty happy about.

Jay, yes, although I slowed down after I saw you at 29k, I passed many runners and that gave me motivation to finish hard.

Yoshida-san, one of my target is to run as hard as possible at the last 2.2k and break 10 min.

Arnaud and Yoshida-san, gambatte for Ohtawara. It's your turn now!
